Every treatment, in six steps
The same sequence for IV and injection. Your site-specific protocol fills in the details.
- Confirm signed consent is on fileYour clinic's own consent form, signed by the patient before treatment.
- Verify the lot against the COAMatch product, lot number, and expiration to the vial in your hand. If anything doesn't match, stop, quarantine the vial, and call ATOM.
- Prep everything firstPatient, site, IV line or syringes, all ready while the vial is still frozen. The clock hasn't started yet.
- Thaw at room temperature, about 5 minutesNo heat, no warm water, no shaking. Gently swirl or invert to combine with the paired ATOM X.
- Administer within 5 minutes of thawFollow the protocol for your route and site. Injection: confirm placement before you deliver.
- Chart it and send them home informedRecord product, lot number, volume, and site. Hand the patient the aftercare guide before they leave.
Never
- Treat without a signed consent
- Warm, heat, or shake a vial
- Re-freeze or save a thawed vial for later
- Mix with lidocaine, anesthetic, or contrast
- Pre-mix before the patient is ready
- Inject the spine outside your credentialing
- Use a vial if the cold chain is in doubt

Which product to use
Four products, all cryopreserved DMSO-free. Every cell vial ships with a complimentary ATOM X, combined in the syringe at point of use.
ATOM IV
Systemic delivery. Use the IV protocol.
ATOM Injection
Same matrix as ATOM IV, prepared for site-specific use. Use the injection or site protocol.
ATOM SSEC (MUSE)
Flagship tier. Follow the IV protocol for IV and the injection protocols for injections.
ATOM X
Acellular. An entry option on its own, or a maintenance step alongside ATOM IV or SSEC.
Product selection and quantity are clinical decisions made by the treating provider.

Storage
- Liquid nitrogen tank or a -86°C freezer
- LN2: secure containers with the screw and washer. Foam lid first, then outer lid.
- Recommended -86°C freezer, no refills to manage
If something's off
- Lot doesn't match the COA: don't administer
- Cold chain in doubt: quarantine and call ATOM
- Kit item missing or damaged: contact ATOM right away
- Urgent case: text your ATOM rep directly
